How do I start the free trial?

Open app.tradeops.nz on your phone or laptop, tap Create Account, and you'll get full access to every feature for 14 days. No credit card needed to start.

What happens when my trial ends?

If you added a card during the trial, your subscription automatically begins on day 15 at the plan you chose ($10/week or $40/month NZD). If you didn't add a card, the trial ends and you'll be prompted to subscribe before you can create new jobs — your existing data stays intact.

How do I cancel?

Inside the app: Profile → Subscription → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of your current billing period and no further charges are made. You can resubscribe any time.

How does GST work?

In Profile → Company Details, toggle "GST registered" on and enter your GST number. From then on, prices you set per job are treated as GST-exclusive — when you create an invoice, GST is calculated automatically and shown on the customer's bill. If you're not GST registered, prices are charged as-is.

Do customers need to install anything?

No. Your clients receive booking confirmations, invoices, and reminders by email. Invoice emails include a payment link they can open in any browser. They never need a TradeOps account.

What payment methods do you accept from clients?

Your invoice emails include your bank account details for direct deposit (the simplest option for most NZ tradies) and an online card payment link powered by Stripe. You can mark invoices paid manually once the money lands.

Can I use TradeOps on Android?

The web app at app.tradeops.nz works on any device with a modern browser, including Android phones. A dedicated Android app is in the works — email us if you'd like to be on the early-access list.

How do reschedule / cancellation emails work?

Whenever you reschedule or cancel a job, your client automatically receives a branded email letting them know — with the old and new times, or a clear cancellation notice. No extra steps.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You own your data and can export your clients, jobs and invoices at any time. Email us and we'll send you a CSV or JSON file within 48 hours.

How do I delete my account?

Inside the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your data within 30 days. You can also email hello@tradeops.nz to request deletion.

Is my client data safe?

Yes — all data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with strict access controls. We never sell your data and never share your client list. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
